We have male and female driving instructors within our team so you can choose who you want. Our instructors are trained internally to a very high standard. We know the standard of our instructor's is high because we are one of the few driving schools who have passed the government's inspection test, this is called ORDIT.

Our goal is to produce safe and responsible drivers. Our driving instructors always try to acheive this with their students and we always try to deliver our training in a client centred way. This helps to get the student thinking more for themselves and places them at the centre of their own learning. We don't teach people to just pass a driving test.
Superdrive Academy got voted for the best driving school in the South of England and we proudly won this award. We don't just offer driving lessons. We are also a driving instructor training company and the majority of our driving instructor's have been trained in-house. We are an ORDIT registered company which means that we get inspected on a regular basis by the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency. Should we fail any inspection then this could result in us losing our training qualification and status as a learning provider. You can read more about what it takes to train as a driving instructor here.
Lastly, we are always looking for good qualified instructors to join our team. We pride oursleves in offering a fantastic driving school franchise partnership scheme. If you're looking to join or be part of a brand and driving school that's got an excellent reputation, then simply get in touch with us and we can discuss your requirements. No. One of the reasons why we don't offer intensive driving courses is that we would have to pull one of our driving instructor's off their day to day work as all of our team deliver pay as you go lessons. Therefore, it would be unfair on our pupils if we suddenly took a one or two week break to deliver an intensive.
We get asked this question quite a lot. The simple answer is if you visit our prices page, it lists out all of the towns and cities we cover. If you see your area listed, then you're in luck. If you don't see an area you live in listed, then our advice is to get in touch with us as might just be moving into that area.
Yes. we have two instructors in our team who work in automatic cars and are able to offer automatic driving lessons in Basingstoke and Andover. We are always training or recruiting new instructors which means we trying to get an automatic instructor in all of the towns that we cover.
Our prices vary from town to town or city to city. This means that you might find that learning in one town could be more expensive than other towns we cover. We are always looking to make our prices competitive within each area we cover. We analyse what other instructor's charge in that town and we try to either match or better it.
If you're interested in booking driving lessons with us, then that's great news. The easiest way to book a driving lesson with us is to simply fill out our contact form and a member of our office team will be in touch with you as soon as they possibly can.
Hmmm, we like to think so but this is a very hard statement to live by. There are on average 35, 000 driving instructors in the United Kingdom so it's impossible to make a statement like this. However, we are ORDIT registered and all of our instructors get regularly assessed and we all go on courses as part of our CPD so we can safely say that we are up to date with all the latest teaching and coaching techniques.
Stress while driving is a common experience for many people. Whether it's traffic congestion, aggressive drivers, or unfamiliar roads, the road can be a source of anxiety. However, it's crucial to manage stress while driving to ensure safety and overall well-being. In this blog, we'll explore effective strategies for coping with stress when behind the wheel.
Plan Ahead - One of the best ways to reduce stress when driving is to plan your journey in advance. Check traffic conditions, map out your route, and estimate the time it will take to reach your destination. This not only helps you avoid unexpected delays but also provides a sense of control over your journey, which can alleviate stress.
Practice Deep Breathing - Deep breathing exercises are a powerful tool for managing stress on the road. When you feel tension building, take a few slow, deep breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. This simple technique can help calm your nerves and refocus your mind.
Avoid Rush Hour - If possible, schedule your travel during off-peak hours to avoid the stress of heavy traffic. Rush hour can be incredibly frustrating, and spending hours stuck in traffic can elevate stress levels. Consider adjusting your work hours or using flexible scheduling to find a more relaxed driving time.
Mindful Driving - Practice mindfulness when you're behind the wheel. Focus on the present moment, pay attention to your surroundings, and avoid dwelling on stressful thoughts. Mindful driving can help you stay alert and reduce anxiety associated with driving.
Adapt Your Driving Style - Adjust your driving style to the conditions around you. If you encounter aggressive drivers or heavy traffic, stay patient and avoid engaging in confrontations. Defensive driving techniques can help you anticipate potential hazards and react calmly.
Conclusion - Coping with stress while driving is essential for your safety and well-being. By planning ahead, practicing relaxation techniques, and staying mindful, you can reduce stress levels and make your commute a more enjoyable experience. Remember that a calm and collected mindset is not only better for your health but also for the safety of everyone on the road.
